Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: July 2026 • Please read carefully before using Vasudha.

1. Voluntary Participation & Data Disclosure

By creating an account, setting up a security PIN, accessing, or providing information on the Vasudha portal, you explicitly acknowledge and agree that you are using this platform and uploading or submitting personal, profile, family relationship, and contact information entirely on your own voluntary accord. You confirm that no information has been requested, demanded, or submitted under coercion.

2. Indemnification & Release of Liability

Indemnification Clause: You expressly agree to defend, indemnify, hold harmless, and fully release the lead software developer (Vishnu Vijayan), system administrators, family moderators, and hosting providers from and against any and all claims, disputes, legal actions, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Any personal, genealogical, or contact data submitted or shared by you or other users.
  • Any family disputes, disagreements, privacy concerns, or interpersonal issues.
  • Unintended disclosures, unauthorized profile access, or platform downtime.

3. User Content Responsibility

You alone are strictly and fully responsible for any content, text, photos, documents, event records, or support requests you submit or upload. You warrant that all information provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you possess the right to share information regarding yourself and family members under your guardianship.

4. Acceptable Use & Conduct

Users agree not to upload false, offensive, defamatory, unlawful, or inappropriate material. Administrators reserve the absolute right to suspend accounts, moderate content, or remove profile entries that violate community guidelines or compromise network security.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties & AS-IS Service

The Vasudha application is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. The developer makes no guarantee of continuous uptime, error-free operation, or permanent archival of data.
